Kota: A student in Kota tried to commit suicide but her life was saved due to anti hanging device. This is probably the first case in Kota when the life of a coaching student was saved due to the hanging device. Otherwise, most of the coaching students used to hang themselves and later it was said that if there was a hanging device there, their life would have been saved.
After the increase in suicide cases, Kota district administration became alert and strict, after which hostel operators started installing hanging devices. Strict action is being taken if anti hanging device is not found.
The student herself came and told about the fan coming down.
The hostel operator said that on Friday a coaching student tried to commit suicide by hanging herself from the fan in her hostel room. However, as soon as she started hanging on the fan, the fan also came down along with the anti hanging device and the student fell to the ground. The anti-hanging device comes down as soon as the weight exceeds 40 kg.
The matter is of Jawahar Nagar area of Kota. When it was found that the fan had come down, the student was interrogated. The hostel operator informed the Student Welfare Society as well as the family members about this. Now the student is being counselled.
The student was in depression
The hostel operator told that the 17 year old student is a resident of UP and is preparing for NEET by staying in Kota. The girl is taking coaching by taking a room in a hostel located in Jawahar Nagar. The warden informed the operator that a fan had come down. Then it came to light that the student had attempted suicide. The girl is said to be depressed and her counseling is ongoing.
It is being told that this student has been preparing for NEET by staying in Kota for 9 months. She had gone to her room after having food, the record of which is also complete. There are complete security arrangements. From CCTV to register, everything is being maintained.
