Arvind Kejriwal: Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is busy campaigning for the Haryana Assembly elections, made a big claim on Wednesday (September 25). Addressing a gathering in Hisar, he said that the government will not be formed here without AAP.
National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal said, “Of all the candidates in Hisar today, the most honest and decent candidate is Sanjay Satrodiya of Aam Aadmi Party. There is a strong atmosphere of AAP in Haryana. If I had been released from jail early, the Aam Aadmi Party government would have been formed here. However, now whatever government is formed here, it will not be formed without AAP. It is my responsibility to get all your work done through that government.”
My bank account is also empty – Arvind Kejriwal
He said, “There is history not only in the country but in the world that a new party was formed and within a year the new party formed the government. The next time, the people of Delhi did wonders. 67 out of 70 seats came. I could not believe it. BJP got three and Congress got zero. In five years, we did such a job that we won 62 out of 70 seats. I worked with complete honesty. My bank account is also empty, if I wanted, I could have earned crores. CBI, ED have checked everything.”
Kejriwal said, ”Today, Delhi has 24-hour electricity, free electricity is available. 77 percent people get free electricity. 83 percent people of Punjab get free electricity. They say Kejriwal is a thief, electricity is so expensive in Haryana, electricity is so expensive in Gujarat. He has government in 22 states, there is not a single state among them where electricity is free.”
I am a Baniya – Arvind Kejriwal
He further said, ”I am a Baniya, so I will talk in the same language. We give 3000 crore rupees subsidy for electricity. If I had a thief in my heart, I would have stolen this 3000 crore rupees, what was the need to make electricity free. I would have put 100-200 crore rupees in my pocket instead. Is he a thief who gives electricity for free or is he a thief who colludes with power companies to provide costly electricity?
