Ludhiana Bypolls: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal is constantly appealing for votes by going among the people for the upcoming by-elections.

In this connection, on Wednesday, June 11, he also made an emotional appeal to the voters regarding the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election. He said that if AAP does not win this by-election, all the development work going on in Ludhiana will come to a halt.

He appealed to the public not to vote for any other party’s candidate. This seat was vacant due to the death of AAP MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi. Voting will be held here on June 19 and counting of votes will be done on June 23.

If you want work to be done in the area, then choose AAP only – Kejriwal

Kejriwal, along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and senior party leader Manish Sisodia, campaigned for AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora in Ludhiana. In a meeting held in Sunet, he said, “If you want work to be done in your area, only AAP MLA can ensure it. Electing a candidate from another party will mean stopping development work.”

In the meeting, Kejriwal praised Sanjeeb Arora’s working style and his humility. He said that Arora has made honest efforts to solve people’s problems in the past as well. Attacking Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Ashu, he said, “If you vote for Ashu, your work will stop. He cannot bring any funds and only keeps abusing the Chief Minister.” Kejriwal described Arora as a leader who follows the teachings of Guru Sahib and said that if he wins, he will be made a cabinet minister.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also counted the achievements of the government in the program. He said that the AAP government started work from the first day, while other governments become active in the last months of the term. Praising Sanjeev Arora, Mann said that he is a leader who lives up to the trust of the people and his victory will ensure the progress of Ludhiana.
