Case after case is being registered against former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her former cabinet ministers. Now 5 new murder cases have been registered against them. It is being told that five people were killed during the student protest against reservation in government jobs in Bangladesh. Including these 5 murder cases, a total of 89 cases have been registered against Sheikh Hasina and her associates.
These cases were registered against outgoing Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka. Along with her, the names of party general secretary Obaidul Quader and 339 others are also included in these cases, against whom the relatives of the victims have registered cases in different Metropolitan Magistrate Courts in Dhaka on Monday. This protest of students in Bangladesh started in July.
More than 600 people died
The death toll has crossed 600 since the student protest. Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister of Bangladesh after the protests turned violent, after which her Awami League government was removed from power on 5 August. Now an interim government led by Mohammad Yunus is running the country in Bangladesh and the decisions of the country are in his hands.
Sheikh Hasina’s passport cancelled
Sheikh Hasina was ruling Bangladesh for many years. She fled from Bangladesh and came to India. Since then she is in India. Bangladesh has also cancelled her diplomatic passport, that is, the passport with which she came to India is no longer valid. Due to the cancellation of the passport, there will now be pressure on Sheikh Hasina to return to Bangladesh. This is not the first time that Sheikh Hasina has come to India. She has taken refuge in India before as well.
