Bank Holiday; 13 August: Banks will remain closed on Wednesday, August 13 and there will be no work of any kind. In case of bank closure, common customers will not be able to do all the work for which you have to go to the bank. But, online banking or digital banking services will continue. Today this holiday of banks will be in only one state and in all other states banks will work like normal days. According to RBI, all government and private banks will remain closed in the northeastern state of Manipur today. Patriot’s Day is being celebrated on 13 August in Manipur, for which all the banks of the state will remain closed today.

Banks will remain closed for 3 consecutive days this week

On August 15, on the occasion of Independence Day, all banks across the country will remain closed. On the very next day of August 15, i.e. Saturday, August 16, banks will remain closed in most of the states of the country. August 16 is the big festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, all government and private banks of Gujarat, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Telangana, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya and Andhra Pradesh will remain closed. After August 16, all banks in the country will remain closed on Sunday, August 17. That is, all banks will remain closed for 3 consecutive days in most states of the country this week.

All banks will remain closed in one state of the country on August 19 and 25

On Tuesday, August 19, all banks in the state of Tripura will remain closed on the occasion of the birthday of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur. Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur was born on August 19, 1908 in Tripura. He was the king of Tripura, known as the creator of modern Tripura. After this, all government and private banks will remain closed in Assam on August 25.
