On Wednesday, a young sub-inspector committed suicide by shooting himself with a pistol inside Kothi police station in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. A suicide note has been recovered from his room. According to police officials, the deceased was suffering from a disease called migraine. According to the police, Arun Yadav (30) was posted as a sub-inspector in Kothi police station. Arun used to do his duty by staying in a room in the police station premises.
The body was seen after peeping from the window
When he did not come out of the room till late on Wednesday evening, other policemen went to see him. His body was seen inside when they peeped from the window. As soon as this was known, there was a stir in Kothi police station. Yadav was a resident of Kalyanpur in Kanpur district. On receiving the information of this incident, all the top police officials including Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh reached the spot. The family members living in Kanpur were informed about this.
The bullet was fired on the temple
The forensic team has also been called which is investigating the incident. According to the information, the deceased was unmarried. The bullet hit the temple, which ripped through the other side. Haidergarh’s Area Officer Harshit Chauhan said that in the suicide note, Arun has mentioned that he was suffering from a disease called migraine. The deceased’s family has been informed about the incident. The police is investigating the matter.
Constable shot himself
Yesterday, a constable committed suicide by shooting himself in the police station in Unnao district. Constable Devansh Tewatia (26 years), posted in Hasanganj police station, shot himself with a pistol. The injured constable was immediately admitted to the Community Health Center, from where he was shifted to the Trauma Center in Lucknow, but he died during treatment. According to the policemen present in the police station, Devansh shot himself on the temple with a pistol kept in the police station’s storeroom.
