He said that “no one in BRICS and SCO is saying that there should be any new dominance in this new multipolar system.”

Praise for India and China

Putin mentioned economic giants like India and China and said that “Yes, there are big economies like India and China… and our country is also in the top four on the basis of purchasing power parity, but this does not mean that any country dominates politics or global security.”

Targeting Western sanctions and American tariffs

This statement of Putin is being seen in the background of Western sanctions on the Ukraine war and the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump.
