In fact, on examining Pani Puri in Bengaluru, artificial colours and cancer causing chemicals were found in them.
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has found chemicals like Sunset Yellow, Brilliant Blue and Tetra Jaan in the samples of Golgappa. According to the doctor, these artificial colours can cause stomach problems and heart problems, apart from this, a disease called autoimmune can also occur.
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has examined Golgappa in Karnataka. Samples of Golgappa were taken in this examination. In which 22 percent samples were found to be failed. A total of 260 samples were taken from 79 places in Karnataka. Karnataka Food Safety Commissioner Srinivas K says that he was getting complaints about the quality of Golgappa from all over the state. After this, samples of roadside stalls were taken in which worrying news about health came to light.
Let us tell you that earlier the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India had also banned kebabs, cabbage Manchurian and cotton candy with artificial food colours. Now, due to the presence of a cancer causing chemical in Golgappa, the Karnataka government has advised people buying street food to be cautious.
