A case of illegal construction of a mosque has come to light in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. Here in a Hindu-dominated village, a person started the construction of a house and under the guise of the house, first built a madrasa and has given the form of a mosque to this madrasa. The villagers complained to the DM and SP in this regard. When the matter was investigated, shocking revelations were made. It was found that the visits of unknown people to this mosque have increased. After this, the DM ordered an investigation into the matter.

Here, as soon as the investigation started, seeing himself trapped, the accused person himself started demolishing the illegal construction. Many people of the village including the village head had complained about this illegally built mosque last month. The matter is of Jodhapur village of Suriyawan police station area. According to village head Shriram Yadav, Haji Kamruddin, who lives here, first started the construction of his house. Later he made this house a madrasa and now has completely converted it into a mosque.

Police had stopped the construction
He had complained in this regard on 13 February 2025. After this, the police came and stopped the construction work. Now the administration started investigating the matter and seeing himself trapped in it, Kamruddin himself started demolishing the illegal construction. According to the village head, after the construction of the madrasa and mosque, unknown people and Hafi Haji Maulvi Maulana etc. started coming from somewhere.

Started demolishing illegal construction himself
He told that he had already informed the then District Magistrate Vishal Singh and Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Mangalik about this. After this, the investigation of the case has started. Despite this, Haji Kamruddin continued the construction work. Not only this, he even threatened the people of the village. However, now seeing himself surrounded in the investigation of the administration, he himself started demolishing the illegal construction.

This is how the dispute deepened
According to the local people, a conspiracy was being hatched to build a mosque illegally and to call outsiders and settle them here. People of a particular community coming from outside started looking for land and houses around here. Due to this, there was a stir in this Hindu-dominated village. The people of the village themselves came forward and complained to the police and administration. Now the administration has started a comprehensive investigation into the matter. Haji Kamruddin, who built the mosque, called the allegations of the people baseless. He said that he was building a madrasa, but due to the construction work, confusion has been created. Therefore, it is being demolished.
