Big news has come out regarding the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra being carried out under the leadership of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. The journey which was to be completed on March 20, can now be completed 10 days earlier. It is being said that changes will be made in the journey in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Now this journey has reached Odisha. Rahul Gandhi has come to Delhi after taking a break from the tour.
Information has been received that Congress’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi will enter Uttar Pradesh via Chandauli on 16th February. This journey was to last for about 11 days in Uttar Pradesh. Rahul had to cover 20 districts. But it is being told that now Rahul’s visit to UP will not be for 11 but for 6 to 7 days only. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav will also participate in this yatra in Rae Bareli. Let us tell you, this journey of Rahul started from Manipur on 14 January.
Rahul is covering 100 kilometers every day
Congress had estimated that apart from bus, car and boat, Rahul would travel 70 kilometers daily on foot. But he is covering about 100 kilometers every day. Due to Rahul’s speed, the journey is being completed quickly. At the same time, Congress also wants that this journey should end soon before the Lok Sabha elections and Rahul should get involved in the election campaign along with the decisions of the organization, ticket distribution and alliance talks.
Apart from this, election notification is also going to be released soon. Therefore, Rahul’s journey will end in Mumbai on March 10 itself. Rahul’s visit is coming to an end soon, hence instead of 25th February, the joint rally of remaining leaders of India alliance is now being fixed for 10th March.
Rahul lost the 2019 elections
It is noteworthy that Rahul Gandhi has been an MP from Amethi. He lost to BJP’s Smriti Irani in the 2019 elections. Rahul Gandhi last visited Amethi with his sister Priyanka on February 25, 2022. Rahul along with Priyanka had addressed a public meeting in Musafirkhana in favor of the party candidate for the assembly elections.
Lok Sabha elections expected in April and May
