Bharatpur: Two brothers died after coming in contact with a high tension line in Bharatpur, Rajasthan

Bharatpur: A tragic incident took place in Bharatpur, Rajasthan on Thursday, June 19, where two brothers died after coming in contact with a high tension line. During the incident, the parents of the children had gone to work nearby. Both the brothers climbed on the roof of the room and came in contact with the high tension line going above the room.

Hearing the screams of the children and seeing smoke rising from the roof, the family members of the children and the people working nearby reached the spot and took both the injured children to the hospital where the doctor declared both of them dead.

Accident happened while playing

According to the information, Shivlal and his wife are laborers. At this time both were working as laborers in Beri village of Halena police station area. The work of boundary wall of a factory was going on in village Beri. The contractor had given a room to Shivlal near the boundary wall, in which Shivlal along with his children Prashant (15) and Pawan (12) also lived. On Thursday (June 19), Shivlal went to work with his wife. After Shivlal and his wife went to work, Prashant and Pawan were alone in the room. While playing, both of them went to the roof of the room and suddenly came in contact with the high tension line passing above the room.

Family refused to take the body

After the incident, the family refused to take the body. After a lot of persuasion, an agreement was reached between Shivlal and the contractor, after which he agreed to take the body. The bodies of both the brothers were handed over to the family after post-mortem.

What did the police say?

Halena police station officer Jagdish Chandra said that the work of building the factory’s boundary wall was going on in Beri village. Shivlal lived in a room nearby with his family. Shivlal went to work with his wife. Both the children of Shivlal went to the roof of the room and came in contact with the high tension line passing above the room. Due to which they died.
