Girl had come to the SP’s office to record her statement

According to reports, the girl had come to the SP’s office on Wednesday evening to record her statement after a love marriage. However, her family members allegedly abducted her. The sudden incident caused chaos at the SP’s office, where police officers stationed at the complaint branch tried to stop the abductors’ Scorpio vehicle, but the accused attempted to run them over. Following this, senior officials were informed, and roadblocks were set up.

Both families were unhappy with the marriage

It is reported that Gopal Jat, a resident of Lakhminiyas village in the Kotdi police station area of Bhilwara district, had a love marriage with Sangeeta, a young woman from Badla village. Both families were unhappy with the marriage. On Wednesday evening, as soon as the couple arrived at the SP’s office to appear before the officials, Shivraj Jat and his associates abducted the young woman in a black Scorpio car.

Accused taken into custody by the police

The police set up roadblocks to apprehend the culprits. It is reported that the police detained the family members in the Kotdi police station area and rescued the girl. She is currently being questioned at the police station. A video of the incident is going viral on social media on Thursday, and people are reacting in various ways.

Bhilwara Kotwali Police Station इंचार्ज Shivraj Gurjar said that as soon as the matter came to their attention, roadblocks were immediately set up in the city, and the Scorpio driver and the girl were detained. The girl’s parents have also been summoned to the Kotwali police station for questioning today. A case will also be registered against the Scorpio driver for attempting to run over the police officers.
