The first phase of voting in Bihar is scheduled for November 6th. Today (Tuesday) is the last day of campaigning for the first phase. PM Modi to interact with women
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with women workers of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Tuesday (November 4, 2025) in the final phase of the campaign for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. This interaction will be part of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s “Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot” initiative.
Modi said in a post on Instagram, “Our women are also working with extraordinary energy and dedication to ensure the victory of the BJP-NDA in the Bihar Assembly elections. Their active participation in the election campaign is further strengthening the journey of democracy in Bihar. I am very much looking forward to discussing with my mothers and sisters in ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot – Mahila Samvad’ on November 4 at 3:30 pm.”
It should be noted that ahead of the assembly elections, the Bihar government has transferred Rs 10,000 to the bank accounts of 2.5 million women as part of a scheme to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment. The first phase of the Bihar assembly elections will be held on November 6, and today (Tuesday) is the last day of campaigning.
On the other hand, the murder of Dularchand Yadav in Mokama, Bihar, has also intensified political tensions. Action is underway in this case. According to the police, 80 people have been arrested so far in the Dularchand Yadav murder case. JDU candidate Anant Singh has also been arrested in this incident. He was sent to jail on Sunday (November 2, 2025) after a court appearance. Further investigation is underway.
Major action in Chapra
A raid was conducted at the home of Vicky Kumar, a resident of Rajapur in the Nayagaon police station area of Chapra. The team recovered ₹23,71,530 in cash. Illegal weapons and some gold and silver jewelry were also recovered from Vicky Kumar’s home. The Income Tax Department has been informed of the money and other items for investigation. The weapons include two automatic pistols.
CM Yogi’s road show in Darbhanga
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a road show in Darbhanga, Bihar. Voting in Darbhanga is scheduled for November 6th as part of the first phase of the elections.
What did Anurag Thakur say?
BJP MP Anurag Thakur told the media in Patna, “The people of Bihar need to be aware that the Lalu family has never done any good for women… Even today, the NDA government is giving Rs 10,000 to 14.5 million women, but the RJD and Congress have requested the Election Commission to stop it. This means they don’t want women to receive the money… Lalu Yadav’s party is doing this, it’s at the behest of Tejashwi Yadav and at the behest of Rahul Gandhi.”

VIP founder and Grand Alliance’s Deputy Chief Ministerial candidate for Bihar, Mukesh Sahni, said, “There is tremendous enthusiasm for a change of government across all sections of society, castes, and religions. Everyone believes that Tejashwi means government jobs. The public is fed up with this government. Nitish Kumar is unwell; he is not making any decisions, the bureaucrats are. The government is being run by remote control from Delhi. In such a situation, the public wants change…”
Regarding Union Minister Giriraj Singh’s statement, he said, “These people have a wrong mindset. Rahul Gandhi went to understand the problems of the fishermen community… but criticizing this is an insult to the Nishad community of Bihar. The NDA and Giriraj Singh insult and mislead the Nishad community in this way; they should apologize to the Nishad community of Bihar.”
