Politics has intensified regarding the assembly elections in Bihar. Political parties have geared up and are busy campaigning. Meanwhile, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is also running a voter rights tour in Bihar which is passing through various districts. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also joined Rahul Gandhi’s tour on Tuesday. However, political turmoil has started now after Revanth Reddy’s arrival in Bihar. Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishore has even said that the people of Bihar will chase Revanth Reddy with sticks.
What did Prashant Kishore say?
On Revanth Reddy’s visit to Bihar, Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishore said- “Who is Revanth Reddy for Bihar? He is a person who abuses Bihar. What has he done for Bihar? He has abused the people of Bihar and said that working as a labourer is in the DNA of the people of Bihar. If Revanth Reddy comes to any village, people will chase him away with sticks. Rahul Gandhi is making him walk on the stage, this shows his mentality that you are making a person who abuses Bihar walk on the stage.”
BJP also got angry
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has also expressed displeasure over inviting Revanth Reddy in Congress’s Voter Rights Yatra. Dharmendra Pradhan has said that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra should apologize to the people of Bihar for this. Pradhanman said- “Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi should apologize to the people of Bihar. Revanth Reddy had said that Bihar’s ‘DNA is bad’. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejaswi Yadav, who was present with him in the yatra, should also apologise.”
Why is Revanth Reddy being opposed?
According to information provided by PTI, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had reportedly said some time ago that former Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President K Chandrasekhar Rao has a Bihari DNA, which is not of the same quality as Telangana’s DNA.
