Bihar: BJP targets Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party, alleges that Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party is a political startup based on fraud and he is raising hundreds of crores of rupees through dozens of shell companies.

The Bihar Assembly elections are in full swing. While all parties are busy strengthening their camps, they are also targeting each other. Meanwhile, the Bihar unit of the BJP on Saturday called Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj Party a political startup based on fraud and alleged that the former election strategist-turned-politician has raised hundreds of crores of rupees through shell companies.

Indeed, Prashant Kishore recently questioned the educational qualifications of Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary. Following his questioning, the BJP has now retaliated.

BJP’s Allegation
BJP’s state media in-charge, Danish Iqbal, alleged that Prashant Kishore is indirectly aiding the RJD-led Grand Alliance. He questioned the fact that his party is still receiving funds from states where the All India Alliance parties are in power.

He claimed that more than ₹370 crore came from West Bengal alone, where he worked for Mamata Banerjee’s TMC in the 2021 assembly elections. Prashant Kishor is also receiving significant funding from states like Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

“A political startup based on fraud”
Danish Iqbal said that Prashant Kishor is paving the way for the return of jungle raj in Bihar. His Jan Suraj Party is a political startup based on fraud. He is raising hundreds of crores of rupees through dozens of shell companies, in which his family members and relatives of the party’s national president, Uday Singh, are involved. His party has also collected more than ₹50 crore from people wishing to contest elections in 243 assembly seats.

Iqbal says that Prashant Kishor has been completely exposed and the public will teach him a lesson in the upcoming assembly elections.

PK targets Samrat Chaudhary
Meanwhile, Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishore on Friday questioned how Bihar Deputy CM Chaudhary obtained a D-Litt degree without passing the 10th grade.

Prashant Kishore alleged that Samrat Chaudhary, who frequently changes his name, was accused in a murder case in 1998 but was acquitted because he was a minor. He also claims to have a D-Litt degree from the University of California, USA. But when did he pass the 10th grade exam? He never did.
