Bihar: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today gave many necessary guidelines to the officials in a high level review meeting with Bihar Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena and Bihar DGP.

Bihar: In recent times, there have been attacks on police in many districts of Bihar. Policemen have even died. In such a situation, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who has been constantly targeted by the opposition, held a high-level meeting on Monday (March 17, 2025). Bihar Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena and Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) were also present in this meeting. A high-level review meeting was held regarding law and order. During this, the CM gave many necessary guidelines to the officials.

In the meeting, Director General of Police Vinay Kumar informed the Chief Minister about the updated status of the work being done regarding crime control. The Director General of Police said that the police is working continuously with full alertness. During the review, the Chief Minister gave instructions and said that law and order is the top priority of the government. Do not be negligent in crime control.

If there is any kind of conspiracy, then it should be investigated: CM

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that whoever commits the crime, they should not be spared at any cost. Identify the culprits by fully investigating the reasons for the crime and ensure strict action against them without any discrimination. He instructed the officials that if there is any conspiracy behind the criminal incidents, then it should also be investigated. Strict action should be ensured after the investigation.

Nitish Kumar further said that he has instructed to expedite the work of crime investigation and complete it on time so that action can be taken against the culprits soon. He said that the police and administration should work diligently to maintain law and order. Apart from Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena, Director General of Police Vinay Kumar, Chief Minister’s Secretary Anupam Kumar, Chief Minister’s Special Officer Gopal Singh were also present in the meeting.
