Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will not attend the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP government in Delhi. JDU leaders Sanjay Jha and Lalan Singh will attend the swearing-in ceremony to be held at Ramlila Maidan on February 20. It is being told that due to the ongoing Pragati Yatra in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will not attend the swearing-in ceremony. This Pragati Yatra of Nitish Kumar is being taken out in different districts of Bihar.
According to the information received, in the absence of Nitish Kumar, both Deputy CMs of Bihar Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha will be present in the swearing-in ceremony. Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha are leaders of Bihar BJP. Therefore, JDU has decided to send two leaders from its side.
Preparations have started at Ramlila Maidan
Preparations have intensified at the historic Ramlila Maidan for the swearing-in of the BJP government in Delhi. The swearing-in ceremony will be held on February 20 at 11.30 am. This swearing-in is also being called a show of strength of BJP. Apart from the Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, almost all the big leaders of NDA will be involved in it.
The Ramlila Maidan is being decorated, which can accommodate around 30,000 people. Its boundary walls are being repainted. On Monday, party workers were seen cleaning the huge ground as well as the pavements and roads around the venue.
Names in discussion for CM face
Names of some newly elected MLAs are in discussion for the new Chief Minister of Delhi, including Parvesh Verma, who defeated AAP convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Apart from him, former Delhi BJP presidents Vijender Gupta and Satish Upadhyay as well as other leaders like Pawan Sharma, Ashish Sood, Rekha Gupta and Shikha Rai are also considered to be in the race.
BJP has returned to power after 27 years
BJP has returned to power in Delhi after 27 years by winning the assembly elections held on February 5. BJP ended the 10-year rule of Aam Aadmi Party due to its strong performance. The ruling Aam Aadmi Party suffered such a crushing defeat that it had to settle for 22 seats.
