It is alleged that twice on 12 February and 22 February, the MLA and his supporters came to his house and attacked him.

The teacher has said that the MLA threatened to kill me by putting a pistol on my chest. Two tenants of our house were also threatened and made to vacate the house. The MLA has threatened to vacate the house with the whole family, otherwise everyone will die. No one will be left to testify in the house. Barari police station in-charge Bittu Kumar Kamal has registered a case and appointed the investigating officer.

Know what is the matter

Teacher Sunil, posted in Sanhaula, has said in his application that we have been living here with our family for the last 13 years after building a house here. On 12 February at 10 am, MLA Gopal Mandal and Aditya Kumar along with seven other people came to my house with weapons. They abused us and asked us to vacate the house by pointing a pistol at our chest. We did not say anything out of fear. Later, we informed the MLA what mistake we had committed that we were doing this. But it did not work out. Again on 22nd February at 9 am, the MLA came to my house with five people including Aditya, Udaykant Singh, Samarjit Kumar alias Chhotu and Dharmesh Kumar, carrying weapons. I told them to come out of the house. They started saying that take him outside, we will get you killed there.

Those people beat me up and said that if you want to go to MP, SP, IG and other officers, then go. Nothing will happen to me. We are worried that some unpleasant incident may happen to our family.

They did not beat me up, the land belongs to my brother-in-law’s son

MLA Gopal Mandal said that Sunil is also my man. Why would we go to his house to beat him up. We got that plot from the land owner for our brother-in-law’s son and got the agreement done. That’s why we asked Sunil to vacate the plot, that’s all. The allegations of assault and threats are false. Meanwhile, City SP Shubhank Mishra said that if a case has been registered in Barari police station, then an investigation will be conducted. After the investigation is completed, action will be taken as per the rules.
