ELECTION 2025 Parties Symbols: Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar in October-November. The Election Commission has allotted election symbols to eight parties in view of the upcoming elections. Mukesh Sahni’s Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP) has again got the boat election symbol back. In the last Lok Sabha elections, his party was given the purse election symbol, but once again the old election symbol boat has been received.
VIP national spokesperson Dev Jyoti said that this is the victory of Bhimrao Ambedkar’s constitution. After crossing many provisions, the old election symbol boat has been obtained once again. VIP has an emotional attachment to the boat election symbol.
At the same time, Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha has been permanently allotted the “Gas Cylinder” election symbol. The Election Commission has allotted the election symbol “School Bag” to Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj Party. All 243 candidates of the party will contest on this symbol.
Jan Suraj Party welcomed this decision and said that school bag is a symbol of education and progress, which reflects their ideology. Scissors have been allotted to Bharat Sarthak Party, bucket to Lohia Janata Dal, lady purse to Jan Samhati Party, flute to Bharatiya Janata Samaj Sevak Party, ring to Rashtriya Samajwadi Lok Adhikar Party.
These political parties had applied to the Election Commission for symbols. Now, wherever these parties field candidates, their election symbols will not be allotted to any other candidate. Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar after exactly four months. There are 243 seats. NDA is competing with the Grand Alliance but Prashant Kishore is busy making the contest triangular. Many other small parties will also enter the fray.
