Bihar IAS Transfer News: Once again, transfer-posting of IAS officers has taken place on a large scale in Bihar. On Wednesday, February 12, a notification has been issued by the General Administration Department regarding transfer-posting. Animesh Kumar Parashar, who was the Executive Officer cum Municipal Commissioner of Patna Municipal Corporation for a long time and was in additional charge of the Urban Development and Housing Department, has now been made the Managing Director of Urban Infrastructure Development Limited (BUIDCO).
IAS officer Vijay Prakash Meena has been removed from the post of Additional Secretary of the Social Welfare Department and made the Additional Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department. Information has not been given about who will be the Municipal Commissioner of Patna now. IAS officer Ajay Yadav, who was awaiting posting, has been made the Secretary of the Education Department. Ajay Yadav will also hold the additional charge of Director of Higher Education till further orders. Also, the Managing Director will also hold the additional charge of Bihar State Text Book Publication Limited.
Udayan Mishra becomes Special Secretary Tourism Department
Divisional Commissioner of Bhagalpur Dinesh Kumar has now been given the additional charge of Munger Divisional Commissioner. Director of Science Technology and Technical Education Udayan Mishra has been transferred to the post of Special Secretary, Tourism Department. Udayan Mishra will also hold additional charge as Tourism Director.
Jamui’s Settlement Officer Pawan Kumar Sinha has been appointed as Secretary of Water Resources Department. Director of Planning and Training Shyam Bihari Meena has been posted as Director of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department.
Purnia’s Settlement Officer Rajesh Kumar has been transferred and made Additional Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs Department. Additional Secretary of Science Technology and Technical Education Department Ahmed Mahmood has been given additional charge of Director of the same department.
Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Limited (BUIDCO) Managing Director Yogesh Kumar Sagar has been transferred and made Director Disability of Social Welfare Department. Yogesh Kumar Sagar will hold additional charge of Joint Secretary Social Welfare Department till further orders. At the same time, Bihar State Text Book Publishing Corporation Limited’s Managing Director Abhay Jha has been transferred and given the responsibility of the post of Joint Secretary of Rural Works Department.
