Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while addressing the public in Gopalganj, Bihar, said that his government was formed on November 24, 2005. For 20 years, he worked to strengthen the rule of law in the state. He worked for development and continues to do so. What were the conditions before his government? Do you remember? The situation was so bad that people wouldn’t leave their homes after dusk.

You all remember that whenever we had to meet people in the evening, we would go inside their homes because people wouldn’t leave their homes in the evening. Nitish Kumar recalled how much conflict there was in society during the previous governments. Hindu-Muslim conflict was also visible then. Even in terms of education, very few children studied because there was no education. Medical facilities were also not good here. There were few roads in the state, and the existing roads were in poor condition. There was no electricity.

Our arrival has ended the atmosphere of fear.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that since our government came to power, the atmosphere of fear in the state has completely vanished. Our government is engaged in development work in the state. Currently, there is an atmosphere of love, brotherhood, and peace. Previously, there was so much Hindu-Muslim conflict. Therefore, as soon as our government came to power, we began fencing graveyards in 2006. Over the years, a large number of graveyards have been fenced. This has now prevented any conflicts.

Nitish Kumar said that in addition, temples that had been fenced for more than 60 years were also fenced because miscreants used to enter Hindu temples at night and cause trouble. He added that this was also done to prevent incidents of robbery after 2016.
