A heart-wrenching news has come out from Madhubani, Bihar, in which a son-in-law beat his sleeping mother-in-law, wife and two innocent children to death with a stick. The two children sleeping with her mother-in-law saved their lives by hiding in the corner of the house. The children told that he remained silent and hidden during the entire incident, hence his life was saved.
According to the information, this entire matter is of Sukhet village of Jhanjharpur police station area of Madhubani district. Allegation Pawan Kumar Mahato’s brother-in-law Santosh Mahato told that his brother-in-law is a drug addict. He told that Pawan used to beat his sister every day. He also used to demand money from them. Brother-in-law Santosh told that those people are very poor. The brother-in-law was asking for money from him in the name of opening a shop. He had already given him Rs 20,000 4 years ago.
The accused was living in his in-laws’ house for the last 10 days. A day before, he suddenly entered the house drunk and beat his mother-in-law, wife and two children to death. Santosh’s children Suhani and Sachin were also present in the room. He saved his life by hiding in the corner of the room. The children say that they were very afraid that their uncle would kill them too. Therefore he remained sitting in the room without making any sound.
Jhanjharpur DSP has told that a call was made to number 112 from Barishlal Chowk. After this the police force reached the spot and collected evidence. The bodies of the deceased have been recovered and sent for post-mortem. The accused Pawan has absconded after committing the incident. Police have claimed that they will arrest him soon
