JDU MLA from Bihar’s Shivhar Chetan Anand has lodged a police complaint about the misbehavior with him and his wife at Patna AIIMS hospital. The MLA says that when he went with his wife to meet a supporter admitted in the hospital on Wednesday night, the staff there misbehaved with him and also pushed his wife.
Dispute started over security guard
Chetan Anand said that he had reached AIIMS with his wife and security guard, but the guard was stopped from entering at the hospital gate. On this, his wife intervened, but at the same time some other employees also came and started misbehaving with his wife.
MLA said – I was held hostage
According to the MLA, some AIIMS employees pushed his wife, due to which she suffered injuries on her wrist and back. Chetan Anand also claimed that when he tried to intervene, he was also held ‘hostage’ inside for some time.
Complaint lodged in police station
The MLA says that after the incident, he went straight to the local police station and gave a written complaint about the entire matter. He alleges that in this entire episode, the hospital staff crossed all limits and also misbehaved with a public representative.
AIIMS administration also lodged a complaint, investigation underway
In this entire matter, Superintendent of Police of Patna City (West), Bhanu Pratap Singh said that complaints have been received from both the AIIMS administration and the MLA side. The police have registered a case and the matter is being investigated.
It is worth noting that Chetan Anand was earlier in RJD but has now joined JDU. His mother Lovely Anand is currently a JDU MP and represents the Shivhar Lok Sabha seat.
