In this episode, a state level workshop was organized for hotel operators and tour operators in the Cleanliness Green Leaf Rating System by the government. In this, Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra said that providing cleanliness and facilities at tourist places of Bihar is the priority of our government.

The Tourism Minister said, when we go to visit somewhere, first of all we see the facilities and cleanliness available at that tourist place. Bihar government is continuously working on this. This is the reason why there has been a big increase in the number of tourists in Bihar. In the coming days, basic facilities will increase even more. It will also be promoted. So that if people plan to travel across the country, then definitely include Bihar in their list.

Hotel operators and tour operators will also have to extend a helping hand
Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra said that for this, the hotel operators and tour operators of the state will also have to extend a helping hand. You will have to focus on better waste management, cleanliness and hospitality in your institution. So that tourists come to you and take a better experience and Bihar’s tourism is promoted far and wide.

Assess the facilities equipped with cleanliness yourself
On the other hand, Tourism Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh said that such hotels will be added on the Bihar Tourism website which have good star and green leaf rating. So that tourists from the country can book directly from the website. He asked the hotel operators and tour operators to assess the facilities equipped with cleanliness themselves and get the best possible green leaf rating from their district officer. This will also benefit your business.

On the other hand, CEO, Lohia Swachh Bihar Yojana Himanshu Sharma told everyone about the details of star rating. Also encouraged them to get this rating. In the program, Dr. Prabhakar Sinha of UNICEF gave information about the rating through a presentation. In the ceremony, the Tourism Minister also honored a total of 20 winners of the ‘Mera Block Mera Gaurav’ competition from Darbhanga division. The welcome speech in the program was given by Tourism Director Vinay Kumar Rai and the vote of thanks was given by Deputy Secretary Indu Kumari.
