It is being told that Rahul Kumar, a resident of Madhubani, came to Marine Drive on the banks of Ganga with a girl on Friday. First both were sitting on the stairs in front of pillar number 93 of JP Setu. Both of them first drank cold drink and then started talking. While talking, both of them had a dispute over something.

Shot in the girl’s head

After this, the young man took out a pistol and shot the girl in the head. The girl died on the spot as soon as she was shot. After this, the young man shot himself in the head. Both died on the spot due to the bullet injuries. After this incident happened in public, sensation spread in the entire area. However, as soon as the news of the incident was received, the police of Digha police station reached the spot and immediately started investigation.

The bodies were sent for postmortem
The bodies of both were lying on the stairs of Janardhan Ghat. The police called the SFL team for investigation. After this, the bodies will be sent for postmortem. The police have also recovered a pistol and cartridges from the spot. An officer said that in the initial investigation, it seems to be a case of love affair. The lover shot his girlfriend in anger. Information has been sent to the families of both. After postmortem, the bodies will be handed over to the family.
