After Makar Sankranti, a new upheaval is being seen in the politics of Bihar. On one hand, Nitish’s presence in Chirag Paswan’s chuda-dahi feast was in the headlines. Now Lalu Yadav has reached Chirag’s uncle Pashupati Paras’ feast. Pashupati Paras met Lalu Yadav late on Tuesday night. The two had a long conversation at 10 Circular Road in Patna.
Pashupati Paras is the brother of Ram Vilas Paswan, a big Dalit leader of the country. Paras is also the national president of his own party RLSP. RLSP is active in Bihar politics. Lalu, who reached the feast, has talked about taking Pashupati Paras along.
Nitish discussed in Chirag’s feast
Chirag Paswan organized a Makar Sankranti feast in Patna on Tuesday. Nitish Kumar was also invited to this feast. When Nitish Kumar reached Chirag’s feast, Chirag himself was missing from the office. When Nitish got the news of this, he returned from the LJP (R) office without eating.
However, despite Nitish’s return, JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha and minister Ashok Chaudhary attended the Dahi-Chudha feast.
Lalu Yadav arrived at Paras’s feast
Pashupati Paras has organized a feast at his residence on Wednesday. Pashupati Paras had sent invitations to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav for the feast. Lalu has reached Paras’s feast. Along with Lalu, his son Tej Pratap has also reached this feast.
There is political discussion about Lalu’s arrival at the feast. The question is being raised whether Pashupati Paras will contest with Lalu Yadav in the Bihar elections?
After the break in LJP, Pashupati Paras remained in NDA for many years, but he did not get preference within the NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Paras has been roaming around since then.
