It is said that he is a big name in the Muslim society of Gaya district. He was in an active role in JDU for a long time with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He was given a place in the national executive by the party, but for some days he was angry with the party’s policies. In such a situation, now he has decided to leave the party.
In fact, two days ago, seven religious organizations including Muslim organization Imarat-e-Sharia had opposed JDU’s Iftar party regarding the issue of supporting the Waqf Board Bill. Now when the Muslim leaders of the party are separating, this is also a matter of concern for JDU.
However, many senior and veteran leaders of JDU from the Muslim community have already left the party and joined Prashant Kishore. Former JDU MP and former minister in the Bihar government and member of the JDU National Executive, Monajir Hasan has taken membership of Jan Suraj. Former JDU State Vice President (Minority Cell) Ibrar Ansari, Prof., who hails from Bhagalpur. Rizwan Alam Khan (Jamui) – former JDU district president (teachers cell), Mohammad Irfan (Jamui) – former JDU state general secretary and former JDU district president (minority cell) have said goodbye to JDU.
