BJP Foundation Day: Bharatiya Janata Party celebrated its 46th foundation day with great pomp at Delhi BJP office, BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta hoisted the flag

BJP Foundation Day: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated its 46th foundation day on 6 April with great pomp at the Delhi BJP office. On this occasion, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta hoisted the flag, after which a lamp lighting ceremony was organized on the stage. The enthusiasm of the party workers was visible in this ceremony of BJP, established in 1980.

BJP government in Delhi after 27 years

Virendra Sachdeva, while addressing the program, said, “Our journey which started in 1980 has reached a point today that BJP has become the largest party in the world. This is the result of the hard work and dedication of crores of workers. We are fortunate to be a part of the party, which has the charismatic rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the patient leadership of National President JP Nadda. He further said, “Today there is NDA government in 21 states of the country and Delhi became the 13th state, where BJP came to power with full majority. It is our duty to make lotus bloom in every city of India.

‘Government working for social upliftment’

Addressing the workers, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “After a long struggle of 27 years, BJP government was formed in Delhi. This is the result of the hard work of the workers. We work by keeping the country first, party second and ourselves last. Our government is committed to social upliftment and increasing the glory of Delhi. She said, “Our guides taught us to work for the society. Today we have an opportunity and we are working to make Delhi developed. The resolve to make India a world leader under the leadership of PM Modi and JP Nadda is our goal.

Presence of bigwigs in the program

Many leaders including State Organization General Secretary Pawan Sharma, Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra, MPs Manoj Tiwari, Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, Yogendra Chandolia, Bansuri Swaraj, State General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht, Chief Whip Abhay Verma and Scheduled Caste Front President Mohanlal Gihara were present in the function. The stage was conducted by State Minister Sarika Jain and Naresh Vashishtha. Apart from this, hundreds of workers, MLAs and councillors including state vice-president Gajendra Yadav, Dinesh Pratap Singh, Rajkumar Bhatia, Yogita Singh, Vinay Rawat, treasurer Satish Garg, media head Praveen Shankar Kapoor, spokesperson Yasir Jilani and Ajay Sahrawat participated.

Grand celebrations also took place in 14 districts

Foundation Day was also celebrated in all 14 districts of Delhi. National Minister Alka Gurjar in West Delhi, Virendra Sachdeva in Shahdara, Harsh Malhotra in Mayur Vihar, Manoj Tiwari in North East, Ramveer Singh Bidhuri in South Delhi and MP Praveen Khandelwal in Chandni Chowk addressed the program.

Employees honored

Virendra Sachdeva and Rekha Gupta honored 38 employees of the state office for their dedication during the election campaign. Office Minister Brijesh Rai and Co-Office Minister Amit Gupta organized the program.

This foundation day of BJP became more special after its return to power in Delhi. The enthusiasm among the workers and the resolve to strengthen the organization was clearly visible on this occasion.
