Uttar Pradesh: Several newborn babies died in a fire incident at Maharani Laxmibai Medical College in Jhansi. BJP MP Anurag Sharma has given a stern warning to the administration in the case. After meeting a government team on Tuesday, he made it clear that he will not allow any kind of negligence or attempt to hide anything in this matter.
MP Anurag Sharma said, “I want to give a clear message to the administration that no attempt will be made to hide anything and if this happens, I will raise this matter in Parliament.” He said that responsibility for the incident will be fixed and strict action will be taken for this. He is confident that appropriate action will be taken against those found guilty in the investigation of the case.
MP spoke on the accountability of the college administration
The MP said, “I have come here only so that the whole truth of this incident comes out and the administration is held accountable. If anyone tries to hide anything in this matter, I will raise it in Parliament. The Parliament session is starting from November 25 and if the administration does not take proper action, they will raise this matter in Parliament.” He said that I will not let anything be covered up under any circumstances. On the question of when the accountability of the medical college administration will be decided, the MP said, it will happen now, it will happen now.
10 children lost their lives in the fire in the ICU
Let us tell you that on Friday night, 10 children lost their lives in the fire that broke out in the Neonatal ICU of the medical college. After this, two more children died during treatment. A four-member team of the government led by Director General of Medical Education Kinjal Singh is visiting the medical college to investigate the causes of the incident.
