Why is the protest being done in Britain?
Actually, this matter started a week ago when a 17-year-old boy attacked people with a knife on July 29 in Southport near Liverpool in Britain, during which 3 children died and many people were injured. The children killed in this attack included Lis De Silva Aguiar (9 years), Elsie Dot Stancomb (7 years) and Bebe King (6 years). This news led to rumours on social media that the accused was associated with an Islamic Jihadi group, after which people started protesting outside the mosque near the spot, which gradually turned violent.
After this bad situation in Southport, the situation there remains very serious. The government is constantly appealing to maintain peace. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has issued a statement regarding such violent protests taking place in the cities, in which he has said that a conspiracy has been hatched against the peace of the country, which will be exposed soon.
After getting information about the incident, the police arrested the accused, they said that the accused has been identified as 17-year-old Rudakubana, who is from Cardiff, Wales. However, the police have not yet found out the motive behind such an attack.
