Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wrote in a post on Instagram, “Modi ji, caste counting has started in Telangana from today. We will use the data obtained from this to make policies for the development of every section of the state. Soon it will happen in Maharashtra as well, everyone knows that the BJP does not want to conduct a comprehensive caste census in the country”. He further said that I want to clearly tell Modi ji, you cannot stop the caste census across the country. We will pass the caste census in this Parliament itself and break the 50% limit on reservation.

Congress had a meeting in Telangana on November 5

Let us tell you that the Telangana government has started the caste census on Saturday. It is being told that in the next few weeks, 80,000 enumerators will survey more than 1.17 crore houses in 33 districts. Earlier, Congress had held a meeting on caste survey on November 5 in Telangana. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was also present in this meeting. Expressing his commitment to ensure complete caste census, he said that this step is part of the party’s national vision. He also said that the aim of Congress is to bring a significant change towards an egalitarian system in Indian society.

During the meeting, Rahul Gandhi targeted PM Modi and said, “He is surprised why the Prime Minister did not say publicly that he wants to challenge the idea of ​​discrimination in India”. He asked, “Why is the Prime Minister afraid to ask how many Dalits, OBCs, Adivasis are there in corporate, judiciary, media”.
