CBSE board exams are going to start from tomorrow, Delhi Metro tweeted about providing special facilities to the students

CBSE board examinations are starting from Saturday, February 15. In the capital Delhi too, lakhs of students are going to appear in the board examination. In view of the large number of students and the importance of the examination, Delhi Metro has made big announcements for the students. Delhi Metro has launched a series of measures to ensure smooth and hassle-free travel for the students appearing in the examination.

Will students get special facilities?

DMRC tweeted- “CBSE Board Examination 2025 for class 10th and 12th is starting from February 15 to April 4, 2025. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched a series of measures to ensure smooth and hassle-free travel for the students appearing in the examination. Students carrying CBSE admit card will be given priority during security checks at metro stations. Students showing their admit cards at Ticket Office Machine (TOM) and Customer Care (CC) Center will also be given priority while purchasing tickets at ticket office machines.”

Why was the facility started?

3.30 lakh students and thousands of school staff will be travelling across the city for CBSE board exams. For this reason, DMRC, in collaboration with CISF, is going to implement special facility measures at metro stations to handle the increasing crowd on exam days.

Facilities for students at metro stations-:

  • Students carrying CBSE admit card will be given priority during security checks at metro stations.
  • Students showing their admit cards while buying tickets at ticket office machines and customer service centers will also get priority.
  • DMRC staff have visited schools and interacted with principals regarding these facilities. They have been given information about nearby metro stations and the facility available for students.
