31 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces on Sunday in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. Videos of the place where the encounter with Naxalites took place have surfaced. Bullet marks are clearly visible on the trees in the National Park area of Bijapur.

In the forest where the Naxalites had made their hideout, after the encounter with the security forces, all the goods have been burnt after a fire broke out there. Cooking utensils are also seen scattered. The material used by the Naxalites to make posters and banners is also seen lying there. Many bullet marks were seen on the trees which are from the time of the encounter.
5 of the killed Naxalites had a reward of lakhs
Out of the 31 Naxalites killed, 5 have been identified as dreaded cadres, on whom there was a total reward of Rs 25 lakh. Police officials gave this information on Monday. Police officials said that 24 weapons and a large quantity of explosives have been recovered from the encounter site.
11 women among the killed Naxalites
Security forces killed 31 Naxalites including 11 women in a fierce encounter on a hill on the border of Maddeed and Farsegarh police station area of Bijapur on Sunday. Two security personnel were martyred and two others were injured in the encounter.
This is how the plan to kill the Naxalites was made
Officials said that on February 7, on the information of the presence of Maoists of Telangana State Committee Special Zonal Committee member Bandi Prakash, Bhaskar and National Park Area Committee in Farsegarh-Madded police station area of Bijapur, the soldiers of the state police units District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF) and Bastar Fighters were sent for the operation.
Naxal Karma had a reward of Rs 8 lakh on his head
Bastar region’s Inspector General of Police Sundarraj P said that out of the 31 Naxalites killed, five have been identified. Efforts are being made to identify the remaining. Sundarraj said that the five Naxalites killed in the encounter include Division Committee member Hunga Karma, Platoon Commander Mangu Hemla, Area Committee member Subhash Oyam, Sannu and party member Ramesh. Police said that Naxal Karma had a reward of Rs 8 lakh on his head, Hemla, Subhash and Sannu had a reward of Rs 5 lakh each and Naxal Ramesh had a reward of Rs 2 lakh on his head
