The Government of India has prepared to take strict action against Naxalites. Now even bigger operations will be carried out against Naxalites. For this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah called an important meeting on 7 October in Delhi. Chief Ministers of 8 states will participate in this meeting. CMs of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Odisha, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh will be included.
Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that Naxalites will be completely wiped out from the country by the year 2026. The Home Ministry is preparing a big plan with the states for this. Representatives of Naxal-affected states, Home Secretary, IB Chief, DG of paramilitary forces, NIA DG and other officials of the Home Ministry will participate in this meeting. In this meeting, the CM of Chhattisgarh will give information about the Naxal operation.
Big action of the government on Naxalites
Just as the BJP government has continuously tried to stop the funding of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and to a great extent it was stopped, similarly a big action plan is being prepared to stop the funding of Naxalites.
31 Naxalites killed in Chhattisgarh
Security forces carried out a major operation against Naxalites on 6 October in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. Security forces killed 31 Naxalites in 120 minutes to end the terror of Naxalites. On the occasion of killing of 31 Naxalites, state CM Vishnu Deo Sai said, ever since we came to power, we have been fighting Naxalism strongly.
At the same time, he said about the meeting to be held with Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday against Naxalism, there is a meeting with Amit Shah ji, in which Naxal-affected states will be involved.
812 arrested, 202 Naxalites killed
In a statement issued regarding the meeting, it was said, this year in 2024, 202 Naxalites were killed, 723 surrendered, 812 were arrested. The BJP government has been trying to end Naxalism from time to time. Last year also on October 6, Home Minister Amit Shah had held a meeting against Naxalism.
