Chhattisgarh: The terror of sand mafia is at its peak these days in Chhattisgarh. On Monday, June 9, sand mafias launched a deadly attack on journalists who had gone to cover illegal sand mining in Rajim area. The journalists ran away to save their lives. The video of the incident is going viral.

Actually, this sensational incident happened when the journalists were capturing the activities of illegal sand mining on camera. According to eyewitnesses, the sand mafia first threatened the journalists and then attacked them. The situation worsened when the mafia opened fire on the journalists with the intention of killing them.

Journalists ran and saved their lives

According to the information, the journalists had to run for about three kilometers to save their lives. They saved their lives by hiding in the forest and fields for about an hour. The local administration became active as soon as the incident was reported. SDM and police force immediately reached the spot and the journalists were brought safely to Rajim police station.

Rajim police formed a special team

Seeing the seriousness of the incident, Rajim police has also come into action. The police have formed a special team to nab the sand mafia. The police have started raids in the entire area and the search for the suspects is on. Initial investigation has revealed that this attack was well planned and the sand mafia took this step to prevent journalists from exposing their illegal activities.
