Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that now there will be no problem of drought in Tikamgarh, it has a tilak of development on its forehead. The country’s first river linking project is going to change the picture and fate of not only Tikamgarh but the entire Bundelkhand. The much-awaited Ken-Betwa Link National Project will provide irrigation and drinking water facilities on a large scale. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Jan-Kalyan Parv cum Kisan Sammelan program in Jatara tehsil of Tikamgarh on Sunday.
During this, the Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of 120 development works worth Rs 105 crore 63 lakh for Tikamgarh. He said that this project will increase power generation, crop yield will increase and development will be seen all around in the tourism sector. The life of the common people here will be happy. Along with this, he fed laddus to the farmers and invited them to the Bhoomi Pujan program of Ken-Betwa Link Project to be held in Khajuraho on December 25.
Country on the path of progress under the leadership of PM Modi
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the country is moving fast on the path of progress under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. An amount of one lakh crore rupees has been sanctioned for the Ken-Betwa Link Project. To realize the vision of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee of linking rivers, Prime Minister Modi will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the Ken-Betwa Link Project at Khajuraho in Chhatarpur district on December 25. When the project takes shape, Bundelkhand will become green and prosperous and this will also stop migration from the region.
Exhibition organized on development program
The Chief Minister invited people to Khajuraho on the occasion of the launch of this massive project. The Chief Minister observed the model of the Ken-Betwa Link Project and the exhibition focused on public welfare and development and the stalls set up by various departments at the venue. Here women took out a Kalash Yatra and also showered flowers.
