Chile Gabriel Meets PM Modi: Chilean President Gabriel Boric is on a state visit to India these days. He interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House. Importance of Ashoka Chakra
The Ashoka Chakra is a dark blue circle with 24 spokes, taken from Ashoka’s lion pillar in Sarnath. It is a symbol of progress, duty and many other values. The flag of India has deep saffron at the top, white in the middle and dark green at the bottom. All these three colors are in equal proportion.
Earlier in the day, Boric visited Rajghat, where he paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Randhir Jaiswal, official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, said in a post on Twitter (formerly Twitter), “President of Chile Gabriel Boric Font paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat, honoring his enduring message of peace and non-violence. A moment of reflection on the Mahatma’s enduring legacy and shared values that unite us.”
PM Modi and Boric discussed strengthening bilateral relations
Boric, who is on a four-day visit to India, is accompanied by a high-level delegation including government officials and business leaders. During their meeting, PM Modi and Boric discussed strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, including economic and social cooperation.
