Taipei (Taiwan): China has built a torpedo-equipped anti-ship missile submarine for its neighbor and friend Pakistan. China has said that its shipbuilding unit has completed the construction of the second submarine for the Pakistani Navy. It is believed that this will further strengthen the military relations between the two countries. Pakistan is engaged in increasing its military strength with the cooperation of China.

China’s state media reported on Sunday that the diesel-electric Hangor class submarine was inducted into service on Thursday at the shipbuilding unit of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation in Wuhan city on the banks of the Yangtze River. According to the news, Pakistan has contracted to buy eight submarines, out of which the remaining four will be built by Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works located in Karachi, Pakistan.

Capacity to carry 46 people
This submarine has the capacity to carry 46 people. The Hangor class submarine is believed to be an export version of China’s 039A submarine, which has accommodation for 38 crew members and eight special forces personnel. This gives an idea of ​​its strength. It is also equipped with torpedoes and anti-ship missiles.
