According to the news, Pakistan has contracted to buy eight submarines, out of which the remaining four will be built by Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works located in Karachi, Pakistan.

The Hangor class submarine is believed to be an export version of China’s 039A submarine, which has accommodation for 38 crew members and eight special forces personnel.
