Bhopal: An organized Muslim gang in the capital used to trap Hindu girls in the trap of friendship, rape them and blackmail them by making videos. This gang was repeating the Ajmer incident in Bhopal. The police initially hesitated in taking action in this sensitive case. When the girls themselves decided to take action, the police registered a case. So far, five cases have been registered in five police stations of Bhopal. 12 people have been made accused in this.
Accused hail from West Bengal and Bihar
Apart from the main accused Farhan Khan, cases have also been registered against Ali, Sahil, Saad, Abrar and Nabeel. All of them are residents of West Bengal and Bihar. One of the accused Hamid committed suicide last year. Cases have also been registered against Farhan’s sister Zoya and her husband. The Police Commissioner has formed an SIT (Special Investigation Team) to investigate the case.
Farhan was blackmailing since 2023
Police investigation has revealed that Farhan Khan, the main accused of the organized jihadi gang that trapped Hindu girl students studying in TIT College, Bhopal, was blackmailing a victim since 2023. She was a minor at that time. Earlier, her sister was also trapped by this gang.
The girl’s brother heard the screams on the phone
The victim’s brother heard her screams on the phone. The girl had gone to Indore after completing her studies to escape from Farhan. She was living in a room in Bhanwarkuan police station area. When Farhan came to know about this, he followed her to Indore. Farhan entered her room late on the night of April 8. At that time, the student was talking to one of her cousins on the phone. Meanwhile, Farhan suddenly started beating her and raped her. Amidst this sudden incident, the girl and her brother continued talking on the phone. When the brother heard her screams, he dialed 100 from another phone and asked for help for his sister but got no help.
FIR was registered on the insistence of the student
When a complaint was made to the police in Bhopal, here also the police registered a case of disturbing peace against the accused Farhan with the intention of suppressing the matter, but when the student remained adamant, the police had to register an FIR of rape and blackmailing. When the police interrogated Farhan by taking him on remand, the faces of many other Muslim youths involved in the organized gang came to light.
Obscene videos of 10-12 girls found
Videos of 10 to 12 girls have been found in the mobile of accused Farhan. Women police officers have contacted some students and explained to them. They have been asked to register a case. Many girls are not ready to come forward due to fear of social stigma. Meanwhile, another girl has agreed to file a complaint. There is a possibility of a sixth FIR being registered in this case. Farhan is the accused in this too.
Police Commissioner says serious investigation is being done
Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra said, ‘This whole matter is being investigated seriously. For this, different SITs have been formed. If there has been any negligence in the past, then that will also be investigated. Whoever is responsible, appropriate action will be taken against them.
