New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail by the Supreme Court on Friday. After getting bail, he came out of Tihar Jail by evening. There was enthusiasm among Aam Aadmi Party workers, leaders and supporters when Kejriwal came out of jail. Supporters welcomed Kejriwal standing in the rain. CM Arvind Kejriwal will visit Hanuman Temple today at 12 noon on Saturday. Other Aam Aadmi Party leaders will also be present with him. CM Kejriwal will visit Hanuman Temple today.
Kejriwal came out of Tihar yesterday
Let us tell you that despite heavy rain on Friday, a crowd gathered outside Tihar Jail to welcome CM Arvind Kejriwal. AAP workers and leaders welcomed Kejriwal like a hero when he came out of jail. The atmosphere of the area was full of enthusiasm amid the beats of drums, joyous dance and sloganeering in favor of Kejriwal. There was also a flood of colorful umbrellas here, with the help of which hundreds of supporters were protecting themselves from the rain. Everyone was eagerly waiting for the release of the Chief Minister. Supporters brought posters and banners with slogans in support of Kejriwal, due to which the entire area was covered in the party’s blue and yellow colours.
Enthusiasm among workers
Senior party leaders, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, were cheering the crowd by raising slogans while standing on top of a truck. Despite getting drenched in the rain, AAP leaders and supporters were enthusiastically raising slogans like ‘Jail ke taale toot gaye, Kejriwal chhut gaye’ and ‘Bhrashtachar ka ek hi kaal, Kejriwal, Kejriwal.’ As soon as Kejriwal came out of the Tihar gate, the crowd welcomed him with applause. Kejriwal, wearing a blue shirt, accepted the greetings by waving his hand before addressing the crowd of supporters from the roof of the car. Similar scenes of celebration were seen outside the Chief Minister’s official residence, where his supporters gathered to welcome their leader.
