Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, during the review meeting of the Revenue Department in the Secretariat, directed the officials to ensure that people do not need to go to the tehsil for the authorized copy of the Khatauni. For this, by arranging the prescribed fee through online medium, arrangements should be made to provide the authorized copy of the Khatauni online by July 15. The Chief Minister said that hearing in revenue courts should be made mandatory two days a week. If a magistrate is unable to sit in the court on the date due to any reason, then it will be necessary for him to clearly mention it in the court diary.
The Chief Minister gave strict instructions that the proceedings of the mutation of land should be completed within the stipulated time period. He directed the Garhwal and Kumaon Commissioners to regularly review the settlement of the cases of mutation and revenue courts. He directed that the services being provided under the Right to Service under the ‘Apunni Sarkar Portal’ should be provided to the people within the stipulated time period, responsibility of the officers who are negligent in this should be fixed. He said that maximum services of the Revenue Department should be linked to the portal. Arrangements should be made for sitting, drinking water and other basic facilities for the people coming to the tehsils. The Chief Minister has also directed the District Magistrates along with the Garhwal and Kumaon Commissioners to inspect various arrangements of the tehsils from time to time. The Chief Minister directed to expedite the process of Khatauni revision/updating and preparation of a new database of the account holders/co-account holders recorded in the Khatauni.
He directed to conduct a survey of the entire land recorded in the revenue records using modern methods soon. Vice Chairman Infrastructure Monitoring Council Vishwas Dabur, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Chandresh Yadav, Additional Secretary Vijay Jogdande and concerned officers were present in the meeting.
