Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday directed officials to remain vigilant in view of the upcoming festivals. According to an official statement, CM Yogi reviewed the law and order situation through video conference. Also, necessary guidelines were given to the officials regarding organizing a three-day district development festival in all the districts on the occasion of completion of eight years of BJP government in the state.

CM Yogi has asked the officials to remain vigilant in view of Chaitra Navratri, Ramnavami, Eid-ul-Fitr, Baisakhi and other important festivals in the coming days. He has asked to take strict action against the elements spreading anarchy.

The CM told the officials that during the festivals, processions will be taken out and fairs will be held at many places. This time is sensitive in view of law and order on the festival of joy and enthusiasm, so we have to be careful. Deal strictly with those who issue mischievous statements with a zero tolerance policy.

He has asked the government to make all necessary efforts keeping in view the local needs to provide all the necessary facilities during festivals and to ensure that all festivals are celebrated amidst peace and harmony. The CM instructed the officials to be extra vigilant on the occasion of the farewell prayers. He also asked to ensure proper arrangements for cleanliness, hygiene and drinking water on the occasion of Eid.

He said that police foot patrolling should be increased and PRV 112 should be active, there should be good arrangements of drinking water, canopies, mats, cleanliness etc. for the convenience of devotees in the scorching heat of Chaitra Navratri. Special deployment of women police personnel should be done at religious places. The CM said that revenue disputes should be resolved in mission mode on the basis of merit.
