Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is campaigning vigorously for the NDA candidates in the Lok Sabha elections (Lok Sabha Elections 2024). During this, he is fiercely attacking the opposition parties.
Now he has taken a dig at former Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing a public rally in Bareilly on Friday, CM Yogi said, ‘You have seen the manifesto of Congress. This Indi alliance is an alliance of selfishness. This alliance is not for the country, for whom is this alliance? Today you must have seen that a former minister of Pakistan praises Rahul Gandhi.’
‘Disappears for five years after the elections’
He further said, ‘No one in India praises Rahul Gandhi because people here know that whenever there is a crisis in India, Rahul Gandhi will first run away to Italy. Then he does not remember the people of India, but when elections come, he remembers the people. After the elections, he will disappear for five years.’
‘We will not support this sin’
CM Yogi Adityanath said, ‘Samajwadi Party, Congress and BSP lie a lot to the public. Congress says in its manifesto that they will give complete freedom to the minorities to follow their food habits. I want to ask which of their food habits is different from the majority community, it is just one, that is beef. We will not support this sin.’
‘New India does not let go if provoked’
Praising the Modi government, the CM said, ‘Before 2014, India had no respect at the global level, the country’s borders were not safe, terrorist activities were increasing. Women and businessmen were unsafe. After 2014, respect for India has increased at the global level, borders have become safe, terrorism and Naxalism have ended. This is the new India. New India does not provoke but if someone provokes, it does not let go either.’
Taking aim at the Congress, Yogi Adityanath said, ‘After independence, the Congress has strayed from its path. They divided the country for their own benefit. Due to their politics of appeasement, separatism and terrorism were at its peak in the country. The people of the country will give a befitting reply to the divisive and appeasement politics of the Congress and the Indi alliance.’
Taking a jibe at Rahul-Akhilesh
Taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said, ‘The alliance of Congress and Samajwadi Party is like giving a tractor to an inexperienced person and telling him to drive it, he will run over someone. This is the pair of these two boys. These people used to make mafia and criminals a necklace around their neck. They used to torture saints.’
