Shashi Tharoor said- Many senior officials attended the funeral of terrorists
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, “When we attacked the terrorist hideouts, some people died in it and of course the funeral of those terrorists was organized. There were some very prominent people in that funeral. At least one person’s name was listed by the UN Sanctions Committee. It also included some high-level army and police officials who were celebrating the funeral of the terrorists. This (Pakistan) is the same country which now says that we are innocent. We did not do this (Pahalgam terrorist attack). You do not mourn for people you are not familiar with.”
Tharoor said – even the land of Gandhi will not turn the other cheek
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said, “We must always stand up in principle for the values we believe in, and we must live without fear. Freedom from fear is what we have to fight for these days in India, against the evil attacks of those evil people who the world calls terrorists, but who believe that by committing such acts in our country, killing innocent people and then running away again they will somehow achieve some greater political or religious objective, as you can imagine, this is not something that any self-respecting country will accept, and even the land of Mahatma Gandhi will not turn the other cheek if this happens, we will respond.”
