Constable recruitment examination is starting from today at 2385 centers in 75 districts of UP, candidates started gathering at the examination centres.

UP Constable Exam Today: Written examination is starting from today in four shifts on Saturday and Sunday for direct recruitment to 60,244 posts of constable in UP. Strict security arrangements have been made at the examination centers to conduct the examination safely. There is full preparation to expose the cheating mafia and solver gangs to the intelligence agencies including STF at the examination centres. Constable recruitment examination is being conducted on two days, Saturday and Sunday, at 2385 centers in all 75 districts of the state.

DG Renuka Mishra, Chairperson of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, said that static magistrates and policemen have been deployed at every centre. Candidates will be given entry into the examination center only after biometric verification. At the district level the DM will act as supervisor (magistrate). Other administrative arrangements including appointment of examination center duty, sector magistrate, static magistrate have been made by him.

Apart from all this, Additional District Magistrate has been appointed as Assistant Nodal Officer (Administration) while a Sector Magistrate has also been deployed at three examination centres. Flying squads will also be ready at the centers for cheating-free examination. To ensure the sanctity of the examination, 50 percent of the personnel appointed at the centers are appointed by the DM and the remaining by the center administrator (Principal).

Exam will be held in two shifts
On Saturday and Sunday, the examination will be held in two shifts from 10 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5 pm on both the days. State-of-the-art technology will be used to prevent burglary, cheating etc. in the examination. Candidates will be examined through checking, frisking along with biometric finger print and facial recognition. In case of any doubt, Aadhaar authentication of the candidate will be done.

Jammers will be installed at all the centers to disable electronic devices like mobiles, Bluetooth. Every step will be monitored through CCTV, live feed of which will be received in the control room of the center, district and recruitment board headquarters.

Candidates from many states will appear in the examination
Let us tell you that a total of 48, 17,441 candidates from different states have applied for the examination, which includes 15,48,969 women candidates. On Saturday, February 17, 12,04,360 candidates will appear for the examination in both the first and second shifts at the examination centres, while on Sunday, February 18, 12,04,361 candidates will appear in the first shift and 12,04,360 candidates will appear in the second shift.

Apart from UP, more than 6 lakh candidates from other states have applied for the examination. These include 2,67,305 candidates from Bihar, 74,769 from Haryana, 17,112 from Jharkhand, 98,400 from Madhya Pradesh, 42,259 from Delhi, 97,277 from Rajasthan, 14,627 from Uttarakhand, 5512 from West Bengal, 3151 from Maharashtra and 3404 from Punjab.

Recruitment board has warned

Constable Recruitment Board has warned that strict legal action will be taken if any person is tempted to pass the examination or if any attempt is made to exchange money. If found using unfair means, the application will be canceled and a case will also be filed against the candidate. Such candidates will be banned from all future recruitments. The board has warned the candidates not to fall into the trap of brokers.
