Croydon Stabbing Case: Five people were injured in a knife attack in Croydon, London today. According to the Washington Post report, the attack took place in a warehouse near the Asda store. The Metropolitan Police arrested a suspect soon after the incident.
According to the London Ambulance Service, one person was admitted to London’s major trauma center in critical condition. Four others were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries. Ambulance teams, paramedic teams, incident response officers and London Air Ambulance have been deployed to provide immediate help at the scene. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said, “We sent several resources to the spot after receiving information about the incident at 10:21 am and treated all five injured.”

The Metropolitan Police has confirmed that the attack took place in a warehouse near the Asda store. However, the motive for the attack is not yet known. Initial reports said it was outside the supermarket, which was later corrected.

According to the police, just hours before this attack, another violent incident took place. This attack was carried out with a knife in Germany, in which two people died and three others were injured. The suspect in the German incident was undergoing mental treatment, he was later arrested.
Earlier also, a student was brutally murdered while going to school in London, UK. The student was only 15 years old. However, after the incident, London Police arrested a minor accused. The girl was a student of John Whitgift School, a private girls school in Croydon.
