CUET UG 2024 dates may change, UGC chief made important announcement, this is the reason

CUET UG 2024: There is big news for the students going to appear for CUET UG 2024 exam. According to the information, the exam dates of CUET UG 2024 may be changed. The UGC chief has indicated this.

According to University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Jagdish Kumar, the schedule of the Combined University Entrance Test (CUET)-Graduate Examination is likely to be changed depending on the schedule of Lok Sabha elections.

 

It is noteworthy that the National Testing Agency (NTA) had announced on Tuesday that the examination will be conducted from May 15 to 31 and the results will be declared on June 30, while general elections for the 18th Lok Sabha are going to be held in India, the schedule of which is The announcement is likely to happen this month. UGC chief Kumar told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ on Sunday, ‘The dates announced by NTA are temporary. After the announcement of election dates, NTA will finalize the dates of CUET-Graduation. The temporary program is from May 15.

 

 CUET UG registrations have started

Earlier, the application process for CUET-Graduate started from Tuesday and will end on March 26. CUET-UG provides a single-window opportunity to students seeking admission to any Central University or other participating organizations such as State, Deemed and Private Universities across the country. CUET-Graduate examination was started in 2022. In a significant change in the examination, NTA has announced that the examination will be conducted in ‘hybrid mode’ under which computer based examination will be conducted for some subjects and paper and pen examination for others. Officials had said that for subjects with a higher number of registrations, the exam will be conducted in ‘pen-and-paper mode’ using the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) format. For others it will be computer based. Last year, the examination agency had received around 14.9 lakh applications for CUET-Graduate.
