As soon as the fire was reported, 25 fire engines reached the spot and the work of extinguishing the fire is going on. There is no report of anyone being injured so far. Fire in DTC bus

Earlier, a DTC bus carrying passengers caught fire in Mahipalpur area of ​​​​South Delhi on Friday afternoon. Delhi Fire Service officials said that no one was injured in this accident. They said that information about the fire in the DTC bus was received at 3:24 pm, after which three fire engines were sent to the spot.

A DFSS official said that after 45 minutes of effort, the fire was brought under control, but the vehicle was completely burnt to ashes. A police officer said that the DTC low-floor bus was going from Indira Gandhi International Airport to Vasant Kunj. He said that the passengers and the driver got down immediately after the bus caught fire.

The officer said that prima facie it is suspected that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the bus. He said that there were no casualties in this accident, but a bike and a scooter parked nearby were burnt to ashes. Police said that investigation in the case is going on.
