The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday released its final list of 38 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections, thus the Aam Aadmi Party has now released the complete list of all its 70 candidates, but there is no such buzz from the main opposition party BJP yet. After releasing the list of candidates, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that they do not have any face for the post of Chief Minister. Let us tell you that assembly elections are to be held in Delhi in February next year. AAP maintained its dominance in the politics of the national capital by winning 62 out of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections in 2020.
What did Kejriwal say for BJP
According to the list of Aam Aadmi Party, party chief Arvind Kejriwal will contest from New Delhi constituency and Chief Minister Atishi will once again contest from Kalkaji seat. Kejriwal said in a post on ‘X’, “The party is contesting the elections with full confidence and full preparation but BJP is missing. They have no face for the post of Chief Minister, no team, no plan and no vision for Delhi. They have only one slogan, one policy and one mission – ‘Remove Kejriwal’. Ask them what they did in five years, and they reply – “Kejriwal ko bahub galti di.”
Congress’s Dixit will challenge Kejriwal
Let us tell you that BJP has not yet announced its candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections. However, BJP is planning to field former Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma’s son Parvesh Verma against Kejriwal from the New Delhi seat. Meanwhile, Congress has announced 21 candidates, including former Chief Minister Sheila Dixit’s son Sandeep Dixit, who will challenge Kejriwal from the New Delhi seat. Kejriwal has, on several occasions, ruled out any alliance with the Congress, despite the fact that both the parties are part of the ‘India’ alliance.
Atishi and Sisodia posted
Atishi said in a post on ‘X’, “Thank you to the party leadership and Arvind Kejriwal ji for once again showing faith in me by making me the Aam Aadmi Party’s assembly candidate from Kalkaji.” She said, “This is a matter of pride for me and I will fulfill this responsibility with full loyalty and dedication.” At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia said in a post on ‘X’, “With the announcement of candidates on all 70 seats, the Aam Aadmi Party has entered the elections with full force. Under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, we are reaching out to the people and asking for five more years to further the progress made in the field of education, health care, electricity and water.”
