Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday completely rejected the results of the exit polls of Delhi Assembly elections and said that AAP was always given fewer seats in the exit polls, but when the election results came out, it got more seats than that. Let us tell you that on Wednesday, voting was held for 70 seats of Delhi Assembly. After that, in most of the exit polls, BJP has been estimated to get more seats, while AAP has been shown to get fewer seats.
Reacting to the exit poll, AAP candidate from Greater Kailash Assembly, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that we have contested 3 elections in Delhi and this is the fourth assembly election that we are contesting.
He said that in the exit polls of the year 2013 and 2015, it was also shown that we will be defeated and in the exit polls of 2020 it was shown that Aam Aadmi Party will get fewer seats. Similarly, now in this year 2025 also it is being shown that Aam Aadmi Party will get fewer seats.
AAP said – will get a historic victory
On the exit polls, AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said, “… Exit polls have always proved wrong for AAP. We have always formed the government with a clear majority and this time too nothing will be different… Some exit polls are showing us winning but I would like to tell everyone to wait for February 8, Arvind Kejriwal will form the government with a huge majority…”
AAP national spokesperson Reena Gupta said exit polls have always underestimated Arvind Kejriwal’s party, but the actual results have shown the party gaining many times more than these estimates.
Gupta said, “You look at any exit poll – whether in 2013, 2015 or 2020 – AAP has always been shown getting fewer seats, but in the actual results it has got more seats.” She claimed that the people of Delhi have voted for AAP in large numbers and said the party is going to register a “historic” victory, in which Kejriwal will become the Chief Minister for the fourth time.
People have made up their mind for change: BJP
Meanwhile, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said the party respects the exit poll predictions. “I believe the people of Delhi had made up their mind long ago that they want change,” he said.

He said Delhiites want a corruption-free government. Sachdeva said BJP workers campaigned with great dedication ahead of the polls to fight against corruption in the city.
He expressed confidence that the AAP is going to be out of power and the saffron party is going to form its government in Delhi after a gap of over 25 years.
On the exit poll, Congress candidate from Kasturba Nagar assembly Abhishek Dutt said, “…I have seen a huge change in my area. AAP’s vote share has fallen in Delhi and Congress is maintaining its hold.
He said that Congress was winning in the exit polls of Haryana. Security drills had started at Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s residence… Cases of fake voting came to light. Money was being distributed openly…”
